The Research Council of Lithuania (RCL) is launching the 20th annual Summer Student Research Practice Call, inviting students to apply for research internships at Lithuanian universities and research institutes.
The programme is open to students not only from Lithuania but also from abroad. Its aim is to promote scientific research, strengthen academic skills, and foster intercultural exchange among students from around the world.
Key information:
🔹 Internship period: July–August
🔹 Funding: EUR 2,000 grant per student (EUR 1,000 per month) plus additional support for accommodation
🔹 Eligibility: Bachelor's and Master's level students (including integrated studies) whose most recent weighted grade point average is at least 8 out of 10, including final-year students at the time of the call
🔹 Application deadline: May 8, 2025, 4:00 p.m. (local time)

Students choose up to two research topics relevant to their field of study from the list provided and indicate their preferred research supervisor(s). Supervisors will assess the applicants for their proposed topics, and one student will be selected for each research placement based on the highest evaluation score.
